Iranian business representatives to attend AgEx in Israel
The 18th International Agricultural Technology Exhibition is to be held in mid May in Tel Aviv. Three Iranian business people are planning to attend. They are interested in equipment for running hothouses in particular. The three have dual passports
If they do make any deals to buy advanced equipment no doubt it will be shipped through some third country. Agritech 2012 will be held over several days in Tel Aviv. Featured at the Ex will be new technological innovations of particular use in desert agriculture.
While organizers were surprised at the Iranian requests to attend visitors from other nations that have no ties with Israel such as Iraq and the UAE also attend. Perhaps it is not business as usual. But business is business! For more see this article. Better to trade in hot house equipment than insults.
